10-Week Clay Term: Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding
Join us for a 10-week immersive clay experience designed to build your skills across both handbuilding and wheel throwing, while creating a collection of functional and decorative ceramic pieces you’ll be proud to use and display.
This term is perfect for beginners through to returning students, with guided weekly projects that progressively develop your confidence, technique, and creativity in a supportive studio environment.
Whether you’re completely new to clay or looking to expand your practice, this course will take you through the full ceramic process — from shaping and decorating to glazing and finishing.
Term class for 18+
What will you do each week?
For term 2, we have based the projects around items you can use around the home. Items that make spaces feel a little cosier. Whilst we show you how to make a particular item, you can drift off path and use the skills for your own direction or complete the project directed. This is so you can learn something new each term but also have the creative freedom to create at your own pace.
